How does AutoPeek handle chargeback and disputed transactions
A chargeback is a payment reversal provided by a bank to the cardholder for unauthorized or fraudulent purchase transactions. It contrasts with a refund, which involves returning payment to a legitimate purchaser dissatisfied with the services.
Incurring a chargeback may lead to account suspension and the inability to issue refunds for the disputed transaction. AutoPeek reserves the right to challenge invalid chargebacks. If the response to our challenge favors us, the cardholder or user will remain charged for the initial transaction without the possibility of a refund.
If you have mistakenly requested a chargeback instead of a refund, make sure to cancel it within 10 days to expedite the process and avoid prolonged resolution periods. If you need further assistance, please reach out to us at support@autopeek.com.
